He was only in three movies, but they are all considered classics. He was an "anti-hero" in the 1950's to American youth. Garry Marshall modeled the character "Fonzi" after James Dean.

You'll probably see his likeness used in many ways now that 50 years have passed since his death. After 50 years, no one has to pay to use your likeness. 1955-2005
Many other celebrities will soon see an explosion in uses of their likeness. For example, Buddy Holly's widow was embittered by how record labels refused to pay royalties to his estate, so she has blocked almost every use of his likeness. That will change in 2009- the 50th anniversery of his death. |
