I have to agree with peppermint...tatoos here are probabally a bit dodge since it has just become legal (so ive heard) and i wouldn't want a newbee practising on my hide |

My nose is pierced, and I've never had any problems over it. The older kids reactions are priceless the first time they notice it. The younger kids like to poke at it.
One of the previous teachers at my school had his tongue pierced, and I don't think he got hassled over it, either.
I wouldn't classify my director as incredibly liberal. I work in a very small city in the country, but I've even noticed some of the 20-somethings around town have eyebrow and nose piercings.
I really think it's how the piercings fit into how you look overall - whether you look like a cool, pierced western person, or a scary, pierced western person. |
