| Yes, after checking the conversion rates, the US Dollar is a bit stronger than Won by a tiny margin, but you will pay a service fee (maybe 1%) to sell your Won for US Dollars in Korea and may end up getting less Baht for your Won you earned in Korea. It's still wise to purchase US or Euro Dollars as these are the universal currencies anyone buys in just about any country. I will sell my Korean won that I didn't wire for US Dollar cash when I complete my contract and head off to see the rest of the world. |

| Go to your Koren bank and get American Express Traveler's Checks. Better baht for the buck, even wth the USD very weak right now. If you lose them or they get ripped off you can have them replaced almost immediately. Keep all the check numbers in two different places, maybe your wallet and email box. Buy your ticket to the USA in Phuket. Several travel agencies from which to choose. Shop it out and you'll find a good deal. Phuket is a lot of fun. Have a blast! |
