I usually pretend I haven't read books that I actually have, because it's embarrassing when someone asks me about one and I can't recall anything. Everything I read slides right out of my brain very shortly after it passes my eyes. Not a good reader. Sad

I tend to read books multiple times for the same reason. For example I've read Dune 10 or 11 times. I think I just read it now when i have to make a decision/worrying and I can occupy some of my brain in reading whilst the rest sorts out the problem.
