There are many of us here who have adopted an animal in need. Where did we find our pets? On the curb? Not likely, most of those die due to disease. How many of us adopted thru a friend or took in an animal who needed a good home? Why is it wrong to find that special animal on Dave's?
It is terrible to try to find a loving home for a special pet if your situation changes and you are unable to continue to provide a good environment? I'm not condoning people who buy a puppy from a pet store and decide after 2 weeks that they don't want the hassle Those folks should be stoned... with rocks....
Give Khyber a break. He is doing the responsible thing by looking for a positive, loving home where the puppy will be well-treated and adored. He can't, by circumstance, do that right now. Is it better for him to take the puppy home and not be able to properly care for it? |

Thanks happy girl.
There have been a few people who've stated their interest but no solid commitments yet.
1) It'd be a lot easier for us to find a new owner here in Korea. If we don't find a solid foreigner in a couple weeks, we may try going to a Korean newspaper (anyone had any luck with that by any chance?)
2) If we still can't find anyone, we may go to KAPS or see if one of the foreigner halfway houses for dogs would take this pup.
3) In lieu of 2) we may consider flying the dog home and trying to find a place for it. But if we do that, the dog has to spend the first month (at least) in a boarding kennel and after that our lifestyles changes would make her, well, not love us.. Then we MAY find a new owner or we MAY give it to the SPCA but either of those would be after she spends a month (+) in a kennel.
We are willing to do any of these things for this dog. She is wonderful.
BUT we both think that finding a good foreigner home for this dog is the IDEAL situation.
help this dog out people. i know there's a lot of big hearts here. |
