I had a high school Job in Japan - 20 classes of 50 kids a week - and marked all their papers every week - about 1000 of them.
Their papers of ten sentences were really simple and designed so that I could mark them easily. I did them immediately after the lesson and never let them pile up. Each question was either right or wrong.
It was horrible, and I did it for a year. And mostly, a complete waste of time. |

No. I wouldn't want to re-sign at that school anyways, not unless they made some major changes to the foreign teacher system. That job was an utter mess.

I sure did. And then I promptly switched grading to presentation style assignments, which could last up to a month.  |
