I was thinking about this today.

Korean women dress feminine when trying to attract male attention. Western women tend to dress, in a more....uhm.....suggestive manner. So what's the deal with that prin? What's wrong with dressing femininely?

I usually prefer the way (generally) Korean women dress though at times wish some of them would just bust out of these amish outfits, ripping them straight down the middle to the belly button.

I will say this: The jeans some girls wear that look like they got diapers, those can go. Full stop.

What is the fashion disaster of the season? Those ugly, long flowing, granny, gypsy skirts the gals are wearing these days. People I work with are wearing them, and almost everyday I see someone on the street wearing them. They are so ugly!!!!! They add like 10kg to anyone who wears one. It doesn't matter if you are big or small, those things are ugly and they flatter no one. I am sure they are comfy. But, usually something 100% comfy is ugly. Just like those ugly Crocs. Just because something is fashionable doesn't mean it looks good. I saw those ugly skirts for 10,000 won in Gangnam station. No wonder they are so cheap. What's worse is, big girls are wearing them. I am small and I wouldn't even wear one. Who wants to look bigger????????

Oh my god, that's so...oh I forgot.

So what are all the women in Seoul wearing these days? What are the latest trends? It's been awhile since I've perused a website about Korean street style. Smile

Bit of a dog's breakfast really. Sometimes it works, often it doesn't. Miniskirts are still going, tight jeans yup, a lot more long skirts and boots than last year (yay!), and some dresses. Still too many ballcaps tho

Those skirts are comfy and good for hot weather. They're also professional enough for work. Why am I responding? I think Princess gets off on the attention. Maybe the next time she posts we should all just ignore her.

Personally, I rarely do miniskirts and I never wear shorts...love my legs, one of my best assets (hehe), but I despise shorts...so how will I beat the summer heat? Lotsa summer dresses!

The only time I'll don a ballcap is when I'm going to a baseball or basketball game...makes me feel more sporty, I guess. Go Dodgers! Go Lakers! Wink

I do dress feminine, NOT slutty. Last night I wore a knee length skirt but it was not granny style either. Laughing

I was trying to shop for clothes at E-Mart. All the clothes for men seemed fit for some pimps in some parts of San Francisco rather than a regular, masculine male. The lady was asking me about this and that shirt, and I was thinking "You've got to be joking, lady". I can't stand those pink ties also. I have no clue about toe socks.

You know what really takes the cake? Korean couples sometimes get his and her underwear where they get similar underwear or something. They also get his or her cell phone. That is way, way, way, too bizarre for me....
