At Everland, there's a "Small World" type ride called "Global Village."
It's dreadful for so many reasons. For some reason, France appears twice, Christmas and The Moon are featured as countries but Canada doesn't make an appearance.
South Africa is portrayed like this, full of wild-eyed spear-chuckers:

I get why you find Global Village a bit preposterous, but you're going to have to explain why the South Africa photo is dreadful and/or hateful. Unless it is now considered hateful to portray African "natives," I don't understand your criticism.

The other displays highlight the most colourful and appealing parts of the cultures, like American cheerleaders or French can-can dancers.
The South Africans are portrayed as utterly primitive and threatening. They're not dancing-- they're rising up and down out of the grass, reinforcing the unfortunate stereotypes you might have seen mimicked by your students. For instance, if I mention a friend who is black, my youngest Korean students will giggle and make spear-chucking gestures, and then start insulting each other by teasing the student with the darkest skin.

I don't know if this is hateful, maybe just extremely silly, but I found it on a package of condoms in a department store two years ago.

Well, I don't know about you, but I am proud to be a brack person.

I fail to see why Canada being left out is so dreadful.

If they included cloud cuckoo land and hicksville at the expense of Australia I wouldn't lose a minute's sleep. These people have the geographical nouse and world smarts of a tree.

If all of these hate images are legit, how hard would it be to attach a reference? A book title or a link? Otherwise it's not very difficult to draw something up on a desktop art publisher and save it as a .jpg to upload and claim as authentic.

I remember licorice with that picture printed on the wrapping. I think it was called "Lakupekka" (Black-Pete). As far as I know the company was forced to rename their product to "Lakritsi" (licorice) few years ago. We used to have another racist(?) product as well. It was called "Neekerin Suukko" (Negro's Kiss) but it also had to be renamed to "Brunbergin Suukkoja" (Brunberg's Kisses).

It was probably some pipe dream that was made up in one school day by an angry ultra-nationalist jerk with a slight tinge of inferiority complex. Notice that not even Hong Kong or Macau were spared.

A very large proportion of the South African population lives like that doesn't it? Look at these Zulus.

Minus the spears there isn't a big difference.

They look a lot bigger as well.

If there are stereotyping wouldn't it be more appropriate for South Africa to show some blond haired blue eyed farm owner whipping his workers into picking cotton quicker?

Minus the spears is quite a big detail with significant connotations though.
