GET A LCD, because plasmas have been know to leave a burnt image in your screen and i hear that the companies will not replace it even though its under warranty, where have i heard this? yahoo answers but im to lazy to post a link, i got an ATEC 42 inch lcd it is sooooo beautiful and the high def really looks good, id reccomend it

I think I'm going to go with an LG X-Canvas LCD with FULL HD (1080p) for around 1.5 mil. Either that or a 32inch for less than a mil. A 37inch with regular HD seems to be around the same price (1.5). I know that it's difficult to see a big difference but might as well get the FULL eh?

I wanted to go with a 42inch PDP but I figured it would be too big for my officetel. I noticed that the smallest PDP is 42inches. Did anyone see anything smaller?

LG is Xcanvas.

Samsung goes under the names of Samsung or PAVV.

A word of warning... the cheap HDTV's are sometimes really old floor models that are 1024xsomething resolution, if memory serves. Make sure it's at least 1366x768.

For those wishing to get a 50" TV, try the Samsung Cannes with full HD. I believe it's around 2.5 million won now, but you can get a 700,000 won discount if you use specific cards to charge it.

The price of a good plasma has gone down, mainly because the technology probably will give way to new and lighter replacements like OLED or Lcos.
