Heck yea, I will join the big laptop club. In fact, I am getting a big wide screen high powered laptop in a few months. I was at an E-mart the other day and was impressed what 1.0 to 1.2 Won can buy you these days, but I know the American market must have more options and impressive bargains so I am waiting since what I have still works.
Since carry on bags have become as large as wheeled suit cases, a large briefcase about 4 inches larger shouldn't hurt in accommodating a nice laptop.
If only they would make a big bright screen that either folds or rolls up for portability... |

May I ask where you did this "Scan"....I would like to check out that site.......................

I just did a very quick scan and came up with this:
Samsung Sens Nt-G15A/Y180
Vista Home Premium (Probably Korean)
Intel Core Duo T2130 (1.8Gz)
17 inch 1280*1024 screen
320GB HDD
1GB ram
DVD burner (no brand listed)
Radeon x1250 128MB video
899,000 won
Ram is a bit less, but you can add that in. I'm not sure how this processor compares, might be a bit slower, but the hard drive is bigger, so that's good. The big question is whether you can get a legit English copy of Vista instead of Korean, which I can't answer for you. |

Desktops all the way! Who could be bothered lugging something that large around if it's not in your pants... I have no need for a lappy as I've my own com in my office and one in my classroom. Now all I need is another in my apt so when I'm home I don't have to rotate w/ the wife...
Anyhow, I don't like laptop keyboards....SUBOPTIMAL! |
