Whats with all the race stuff? Why'd you have to sneak that in? The title was about ex's at wedding. The race stuff is irrelevant.

Bloody hell Adolf, fantastic bit of irony from you there! What brought that on?

This isn't a white marriage its a mixed marriage. Many white women who mix have emotional problems are manipulative or are just promiscuous.

Its looks like your buddy scored and likely bragged to everyone about having a White women but really she was just using a crutch or bed hopping. Its looks like she's bed hopping now.

Race had nothing to do with this situation. Nothing I went to this post for one reason and when I got there, the question unscrupulously morphed into something different.

Get sarcasm much? Question

Yeah, I do actually sunshine Rolling Eyes but I don't think Adolf Balony was being ermm... sarcastic!

Here is a a few choice rants of his from previous postings.

Multiculturalism is a form of genocide. Destroy whoever they want to at the time and replace them with someone else. That whole concept looks really bad.

The Koreans are going to shut the industry down before they let the darkies in. The industry as it exists is a fraud and should be shut down anyway. So be it.

the Philippines is not off the beaten path.

I heard Yap is dangerous. I went to Romania for a vacation once because it was off the beaten path and I was molested by gypsies. I never wanted to kill children before. I looked around for rocks to smash their head with and dumpsters to hide the bodies.

Gosh ... we really can't tell what was in their heart. This looks like another nonwhite man choosing White women over Black women and calling it non-racist.

Thats just a few of Adolf Balonys musings: Hey it could be sarcasm or irony but I don't think it is do you? If it is I suggest he stops because he is not very good at it is he?

Well... My apologies. Embarassed

I assumed that a post that ridiculous had to be sarcasm.

My ex, with whom I'd shacked up with for a few years attended my wedding.
A month later I attended hers. As long as the mood is cordial, I think it's appropriate.

Your research is poor and your conclusions and analysis are therefore poor.
You forgot the part where I hate illegal immigrants.

Now that you mention it, the posts of his I've seen have needlessly mentioned race an awful lot.

actually, my korean friends find it a bit strange. and we were wondering if this is a "white thing" to invite an ex to ur wedding.

but the consensus was, that we shouldn't judge white people on what white standards are.

which ultimately came my own question if this is a normal practice for white people. hence the thread.

I was at a colleague's wedding earlier this year and at least one of the co-teachers in attendance had shagged the groom. There goes your 'it's a white thing' theory.

Yes, I think young white people will invite ex's to wedding. Many ended relationships end civil - meaning no hard feelings, no strong hatreds, no 'gonna kill you if i see you again' type animosities, etc. If the old relationship ended fine, and the wedding has many mutual friends, etc... I don't see why they wouldn't invite an ex.

That being said, I know a Korean girl who married a British guy, she invited a half dozen white guys she'd banged before to the wedding. I always thought that was weird.

--------

Just curious...

Are white people that strange or odd in L.A.? Movies like CRASH among others show of strong racial relation stereotypes of each other - generally negative, etc.

When I meet Korean-Americans in particular, I notice they are very open and well-informed and such if they from Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, etc. But quite a few from Los Angeles seem to be a breed apart - more racial-oriented in particular. Is it something to do with L.A.?

My own theory is that each ethnic group is so large in Los Angeles, they are somewhat insular and unaware/unfamiliar with others - and therefore questioning others motives. Whereas if you lived in Seattle/Toronto/Boston or somewhere, people of different ethnicities are just more familiar, comfortable and interact with each other more.
