| Some people need to get a life. The performance was definitely less inspired than in the past, but I certainly wouldn't say she looked fat or trashy. On the contrary, she looked kind of hot. I guess it's because I saw the performance after all the media hype was already in full swing and I expected something worse than what I saw. Of course, it really couldn't have been as bad as the media let on. But really, she hasn't performed in a long time and has had two kids. Not to mention the fact that she just got out of rehab. God, give the chick a break. |

Britney, Paris and Michael Jackson..surely Michael Jackson cant be compared to these two, yes he maybe seen as a freak these days, but even if you define him as a freak, he's still in a different league of he's own, what, Britney is a messed up druggy? and Paris an amateur porn star, Michael Jackson changed skin colour and lives in a fantasy world..he knows how to do things right, and being a freak maybe no exception.
Even so Michael Jackson is a legend and will always be remembered as so, unlike Britney and Paris |

The dancers were supposed to lift and twirl her in the air a few times, and that just wasn't going to happen. The more complicated dance moves had to be erased because she couldn't do them." Meanwhile, Spears was agitated because she didn't like the outfit MTV had selected for her. "MTV wanted her to wear a corset outfit. It would have looked great and covered a lot of things up, but she hated it and didn't think it was sexy enough." Instead, Spears changed into a spangly bra-and-underwear outfit she'd brought with her that emphasized her weight gain over the last year. MTV execs weren't the only ones worried about Spears' impending debacle. Another spy said, "The dancers were texting pals, asking them to pray for them. They were worried." After Spears performed at the VMAs, she allegedly broke down in tears but then partied until 3 a.m. She changed outfits several times and again was photographed by paparazzi wearing no underwear. |

Yeah but no culture makes a millionaire out of a normal girl based on her song and dance. Britney has to be an overly slim fashionable pop-star "ideal" because its her career. If she's fallen to normal girl status as you say then she's a failure.

The girl is under tremendous pressure to look sexy and submissive.

How so? How does having kids make a woman gross? what are you, 7 years old? Just aside frokm even the attitude, who uses the word "gross" past the age of 14 anyway? |
