Bling Basketball, my man. It's new, it's hip, it's darn expensive, especially if you spring for the diamond-encrusted, mastodon ivory backboards and mink shorts/top with a baby seal track suit. The whale skin Nikes are a pretty reasonable $1000, though. |

Because I only had one pair, that were given to me as a gift, and one of them broke (the clasp). I took it to people, and was told it couldn't be fixed on more than one occasion. I keep a pair in 24/7 so that my piercings don't close over.
Don't be so judgemental. |

| Got nothing to do with judgment - I can only hope you know the difference between need and want. I assume you're an adult and apparently an ESL instructor, it frightens me to know that future generations of Koreans will be saying "need" when they actually "want" eat fishee. |

I most definitely do know the difference, thank you very much.
I NEEDED a pair of hoops to put in my ears, lest my piercings close over, as they have done in the past.
They NEEDED to be gold, of at least 14k, because my skin reacts to anything else. If I try to put sterling silver, or even stainless steel in my ears for any significant amount of time, they get itchy, then break out in a rash, and my ears become infected. I didn't think I NEEDED to prove myself to an online persona who feels he needs to go on a power trip and find reasons to belittle people.
Thanks for your flame though. As unnecessary as it was, I do know the difference. |

Sorry to flame, I just can't ever imagine needing to stick gold or anything else in my ears. Do a lot of people need to do that nowadays? I feel so old and out of touch with the needs of today.
Gotta run, I need to eat. |

| Canadian diamonds have now become the top choice internationally for diamonds. They are mined, cut, polished, and laser tagged all in Canada. One of the reasons they are sought after isn't just the high quality of the stones, but because customers can be assured that they aren't contributing to the blood diamond industry. |

Atomic42, you really are just a trolling arse, aren't you?
In case you haven't noticed, in my earlier thread I said I used to work in the jewelry industry. If you don't have something HELPFUL to add, why are you wasting space? |

At least what I have to say may help some people in their purchases.
Everything you've said so far.... well it's been completely useless. |

Does the DeBeers family own all of the diamonds in Canada, too?
If there is one thing I hate, it's a family monopoly. |

Lady, your posts are pathetic and very telling. You might want to reconsider throwing stones around here. You've been assaulted by Nigerians to the point of shaking and tears when your boyfriend calls, told by random acquaintances how wonderful and beautiful you are and how much everyone loves you and wants to get up inside, and then go on ranting about needing gold hoops? You have a lot of nerve to be calling me or anyone here on anything. Oh, and nobody cares about your silly little gripes so STFU.
And thanks. |
