Yes the debate has abated  Probably because your beloved gords tactics of changing the topic, misdirecting have failed. He was so pummeled the bullshajo had to give him a pity pat of comfort.
Interesting that the poll on Big Bills conclusively showed that I was the overall winner.
So do cheer on your buddy gord...just if you are going to do it then do it in private.
If not then instead of misdirecting the forum into an off topic scrap at least post something pertaining to the OP either supporting your monkey chief or STFU! |

You obviously do cheer gord. Why else did you post such an antagonistic post towards me? He owns me? You are entitled to your opinion. Everyone is! But when you come out and slam me in a public forum you open yourself up to a shot.
If you bothered to read any of my other posts you will find that I have on occasion admitted when I was wrong. I myself have never seen an apology from gord! In many instances he is obviously wrong, but he just slinks back under his rock and pretends the whole incident did not happen.

People cheer on the most entertaining person, - the facts of the argument, as always are pretty irrelevant. its like a playground scrap: nobody cares who is actually right or wrong. Gord's trump card has been producing some animated marker pen drawings, and his fan club react like a lot of women at a chippendales act.
This debate could be about Gord stating that we don't need water to survive. It'd make no difference, his fan club would still agree, because he has a long established reputation on here.. thats fine, and I don't really care.
But as usual people aren't interested in environmental issues anyway, and typically lack any knowledge to judge for themselves what is correct on this subject. Its unfortunate, nay shameful, that Gord (who is famous for testing his lawyer abilities by making a blatantly wrong statement, then trying to prove it) has chosen to discredit the value of rainforests- the world's richest habitat. I wouldn't have minded if he'd chosen to argue about korean immigration policy or something irrelevant:) |

Gord believes that if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with BS. Rapier and Grotto have produced the best argument. They have backed it up with facts. Gord has not. Kudos to Gord for taking a stupid premise and running with it. He made it entertaining anyway.
Gord makes a habit of screaming "facts! facts! give me facts!" but conviently provides little of his own.
Bulsajo, since when did Gord knock Grotto or Rapier down? Gord did some fancy dancing, threw a few light jabs, none of them that landed then fled the ring when he realized he had no chance of winning. Your boxing analogy is as weak as your thread analysis... |

Kiwiboy its a glitch thats happening on Daves...  I did the same thing.
I posted and up comes some error debug mode message so I tried again, although I gave up after 3 tries. |

Your good buddy gord says that no one ever used the Amazon for farming. I posted a couple of quotes that show that oh yes they freaking do. Does gord respond? No he misdirects, changes the subject and posts more off topic stuff trying to get people to forget the fact that oh yes he was actually full of crap.
