You're the one who is insulting, and I can see that it's pointless to try to have a dialogue with you since you insist on believing what you want to believe. And yes, I definitely meant cynicism. Thanks for asking.

Bardot comes across as a poor spokesperson in the articles, and she probably is one. However, you're making far too much of her "Korean activities." The article that said she "led the international campaign" was inaccurate; it was Sunnan and Kyenan Kum who led it, although it had many international supporters. And the Kum sisters' concern for animals is very real, as is the danger of flawed legislation that purports to "help" animals. Period.

I didn't insult you. Go look again.

You want this to be true, so that you don't have to admit that racists are spearheading the animal rights movement.

Nobody outside of Korea has heard of these women. They are doing good stuff but they are not international leaders.

I'm sure it's really true that they care about animals but I have to question the level of that concern. They had a chance to make their voice herad in a meaningful way - they knew they'd never get support from international groups, however, if they did not bow to the agenda to oppose any compromise that would allow Koreans to eat what they wish. It seems to have been a political decision, most likely.

1. I didn't insult you.

2. Brigitte Bardot is a racist. She is married to a racist, one of the leaders of the National Front. Here's a link to a white supremacist group that speaks highly of her.

3. She is a much larger figure in the animal rights movement than the Kum Sisters are. (Originally, if I recall, you brought them to us to show that people in Korea are opposing this - now, they have become internationals leaders somehow.)

4. Their organization and others opposed regulations that would have led to less cruelty to dogs in Korea. The torture inflicted on the dogs seems to be just a side issue - they want to tell people what they can and can't eat.

Which of these things are lies? Don't just say it - show it.
