btw rails, Bali isn't a country.

the country it is a part of is one of the biggest success stories in Asia over the last decade and its future is probably brighter than Korea's since it's not dependent on everyone else for natural resources.

I also wish I was paid in rupiah rather than crap won. I'd be up 33% over the last several years.

Yes, its part of Indonesia.

It has a single industry- tourism.

Seriously if you think Bali is going to somehow turn into the next Hong Kong.... Rolling Eyes

anyone else here a Korean Music fan, if so favorite artists?

A bit dated, but I really enjoy 푸른새벽 (blue dawn) and a couple of other Korean 'indie' (folk, soft rock, electronica, etc) artists. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9f4J1HDAKQI

OT - I started listening to k-pop songs a few months ago, but I fully admit it's just a bit of following the herd going on in my case. It's cute-tough, sometimes guffaw-worthy and I can usually jog to it. Honestly, my standards for Music I Will Probably Hate Next Year But Have On Repeat This Month are pretty consistently low (Rabiosa, I'm The Best, and Moves Like Jagger on a loop this week).

[btw - Apologies if skipping a 13 page thread to answer a survey-type OP question isn't done here. No offense intended if I've disrupted the conversation going on. It's interesting and I hope you continue while other people pop in to answer the question.]
