So true.

Also I keep reading about how no asset class is safe these days (AAPL disappointed, gold has tanked recently, bond bubble, etc.) and that high volatility is the new norm. Anyone trading VIX these days?

I feel like gold is safe because these countries aren't going to stop debasing their currencies.

It's good to have pullbacks like the one we've had, because it's an opportunity to buy it cheaper. Even though there are just two more months in 2011, I wouldn't be surprised if gold takes out the 2,200,000 won level by the end of this year. The EU just said it's going to print massive amounts of money and you know Korea will too.

562 pounds for a million won. Have never seen it dip below 540gbp per million won since 2003.

Must be because the pound tanks at the same time as the won or something.

I'm happy that the won is gaining strength. I just saved over $3000 by waiting til the end of the month to wire money.

Four more paychecks and I'm done worrying about this crappy currency. Very Happy

Edit: Hey, it's pretty all right at the moment. 1000 won = 90 cents CAD. I've done worse. I'm sending everything I have now home tomorrow.
