My take on the Wade vs Roe for guys issue:
After the third month of pregnancy, it becomes difficult and more dangerous to get an abortion. If the man involved says he doesn't want the child before that point- fair enough. The woman then can choose wether she wants to raise a child on her own, and acts accordingly.
After that point, I think the decision (by both parties) is made. |

The Girl Abortion Meets the Boy Adoption

By Andrew Lauman
About 10 years ago, my girlfriend became pregnant and decided to have an abortion. A part of me didnt want to do that because I knew that it was wrong, but another part of me allowed it to happen. I wanted to speak out against it, but I also knew that it was through my choice of having sex with her that I bore the consequence of this action. Do I speak out against her and violate her choice of our actions and bring shame upon her and myself? Say nothing and stay with her as a boyfriend and take the role of the manly protector? I took the last choice, outwardly believing that this was the more integral and stronger position. Inwardly knowing that I had made a choice based upon selfish ambition. I wanted to believe what society told me and allow the woman to choose. Of course engaging in sex again was probably the strongest motivator. It was the strongest motivator because sex had become my master.

If you had, you wouldn't be in Korea teaching English.
Considering this ...

... you shouldn't be teaching English.
Your grammar and spelling are an embarrassment to qualified ESL teachers.
No wonder Koreans have such a low opinion of us.
If you're going to be a missionary, have integrity and honesty and be a missionary.
Don't pretend to be a teacher. |

Once again Troll Bait you show your true colors of debate; insults and nefarious remarks.
Wow, could you let me know when you have time to teach me english. I am sure there is no student who couldn't escape the powerful understanding of you...oh wise english man.
All in the monkey tribe bow down to the great Troll Bait.

True, but it doesn't pan to "being caught up in the moment" or "baby, if it feels good, do it." Right? Openness is the ideal for any relationship, but unfortunately, society is about the quicky. The faster the act can be done, the better. Who cares about consequences. |

June 22, the court case, Doe v. Bolton (the second court case of 1973 that sealed Roe V. Wade, the court case that legalized abortion), is slated to be heard in the U.S. Supreme Court. |

Not true. You are either wrong or lying.

On June 22, 2006 Doe v. Bolton will again be filed with the United States Supreme Court, giving the case an opportunity to be re-heard and overturned. |
Just remember that you said this:

coming soon: the end of abortion in June 2006, |
So if they file on June 22 that gives them nine days by my count to get from filing to abolishing all abortion in the United States. (No, wait. "Thirty days has September, April, June and November.") Eight days. Eight days from filing to total abolishment of all abortion in the states. If that does happen it is definitely an act of god.
Looking forward to checking this thread on 7/1. |

Haven't you heard of overtime?
Ok, let's look at the scores since this thread started....
Quote: |
In addition to Ohio, South Dakota and Louisiana, the states that had proposals to ban abortion this year included Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, said the message is getting through.
"Twenty percent of the legislative bodies in the United States have some sort of ban bill on the docket for this season or next," he said. "Will this end abortion today? No. But it's lighting a fire that cannot be put out, because Americans are tired of the horrible tragedy of abortion on demand." |
This is a word that appeared on Elijah List today.

Though this dream and Dutch's interpretation came in January of this year, other major secular news outlets have reported in recent months, that many feel another Justice may step down this summer. Most Justices announce this in July, to provide ample time for their replacement to come. You may recall the previous dream God gave me about the courts and Sandra Day O'Conner, who, after the dream, surprised many by announcing her retirement on July 1st of 2005.
Also, it turns out that Attorney Allen Parker, is filing briefings regarding the landmark abortion case "Doe v. Bolton" in July of 2006, instead of June, which he feels is better timing. Most people are not as familiar with this case, as they are with Roe v. Wade. |

Actually, I didn't, someone else did...I posted it. And I posted it for its content and not just for its date. |
