| I study Korean. I prefer to date Korean girls who don't speak English. Does that make me a bad person. No. That is my preference. Are girls who study English whores for wanting to spend time with others who speak English? No. The problem is on our end. We have this view of dating and sex that is much different than the average Korean's view, in my opinion. We take it so personally. Almost as if it is a spiritual thing with us. Korean people are much more business like in their approach to dating. It is a means to an end to them. Some of us tend to get rubbed the wrong way by that view of "love" relationships. I did at first. However, when you see it for what it is and join in, it can be the most enjoyable dating scene there is. |

so koreans don't take sex personally. Do explain this impersonal sex. I want to get me some of that. |

I heard its expensive, and they keep asking you "Are you done yet?"
Not to mention the full-body latex suit, and the robots, and... heh, I should stop. |

After reading some of your recent posts, I think you are stupid. I didn't say that sex is impersonal to Koreans, I said that westerners seem to take it very personally, and hold a very sentimental notion of it, not that Koreans have no emotion invested in it. You seem to make quite large jumps in logic that reflect a very low level of intelligence. Too bad you don't post more thoughtful contributions because you seem to post a lot. |

| I don't know of a sentence in the English language that could be more wrong than "____ don't take sex personally." Fill in the blank, its still wrong. |

Are you familiar, Mr. Q with the old adage of computer science GIGO? It means garbage in-garbage out. Any person trying to use Daveseslcafe Korea board for anything that is "true, sublime, or beautiful" is an optomist, or insane. In the last few weeks we have had the following proof of humanity
1-A poster informed us we are all suffering from lolicons.
2-A diferent poster tried to say "er..I'm sorry...but I believe in...Jesus" before being told where to go and what to do there.
3-A post entitled "best ccok block story"
4-Black condoms attack!
Did you ever consider I don't use my brain before posting... |

Then you are a part of the problem you are complaining about. |

Daveseslcafe is to intellligent thought as
Mindless Self Indulgence "Cocaine and Toupees" is to music.
Neither one is good but it does fill a need. |

gah, i'm not talking about grammatically incorrect! I'm talking about wrong as in right and wrong! Sex is done with your naughty bits, its pretty much the definition of "personally." If your body ain't personal then the word personal has no meaning. |

This a great thread, Im not going to post my stories as they have pretty much been covered.
I agree that some Koreans just want to spend time with you in order to practice their English. Most of the time it is pretty obvious, they either say it, or as happened to me one time, start introducing you to other members of their conversation class.
However, I am so conscious of it now that I think I have missed out on a lot of genuine friendships.
The only way to test, that I can think of, is to learn Korean. If they are happy to talk in Korean then I think they are genuine. |

I once had this coffee date with a girl and decided to show her my spider galbi pictures. I had the fake spider on the very last page of the photo album. When she saw it she screamed. Of course, every Korean in the shop turn and look at me, the foreigner.
I never did hear from her again . . .
