is anyone else getting fed up with jinju? He's in a minority of maybe 5% who think that golf is not a sport. He's not giving his opinion, he's TELLING us that it is not a sport. He has evidently not played golf to a decent standard or has tried but realised he just can't do it.
Just accept that your opinion is different to everyone else's. Although I'm sure the rest of the world is wrong according to him. Go to bbc.co.uk/sport and golf is on there as a sport. Poker is not a sport that's why it is not on there. Golf is a sport, if jinju thinks differently and decides that most of the world is wrong, then he's stupid. |

I can't believe 17 pages. Like I said before, I have my opinion, and i am not going to back it up or worry about flames. How can I back it up anyways. This entire topic is way too subjective, and frankly if humans can't even agree to disagree on a subject as small and insignificant as this, well...

Jlarter,
Yes I agree about the almighty Jinju, maybe he will change for the better but I doubt it. I think sports to him are actually so far from his reality because he is fixated with his "hobby" of Photography. |

Oh my gawd!! This thread is still ongoing? I haven't been getting notifications. Apparently I haven't missed anything. Mind you I'm not going to read the last 10 pages or so that I missed. Anyone care to give me the Reader's Digest version?
Woods.
No, MJ.
No, Woods.
Jinju's a tranny.
No, Woods is.
No, Mj is.
Does that about sum it up? |

Recently, things have taken yet another turn for the worse, as debate has risen over golf even being a sport (please see other thread.) However, as logic and common sense prevails, we will get back to focusing on Tiger and his challengers in this spirited discussion over dominant icon status.
Federer is one recent challenger, and I put them head to head in 10 categories, and Tiger came out on top. Jinju, however, claims that Grand Slam titles/ Major titles be the ONLY determiner in the decision. If this is the only criteria, the focus should be turned onto Jack Nicklaus (18 Majors) and Pete Sampras (14 Singles Grand Slams). These are two names that have scarcely appeared in the 17 pages thus.
So there you go. Up to date... |
