Its 1910, rural Georgia....

"Gee Bert, lynchin ai't bad, it's custom...."

Its 1942, Birkenau

"Gee Bert, its custom to kill Jews"

It's 1778, Massachusets

"Gee Bert, burning witches is a custom"

1950, Suburbia

"Gee Bert, I beat my wife and keep her locked in the house because it's custom"

Ernie, the muppet genius.

Guess what, genius, racism once was a custom. Lynchings and slavery were once as much a custom in the South as anything else. The mere fact that something is a custom, Ernie, doesnt make it right or good or great.

Now, go play with Bert, he misses you.

Since when is trying to extort money from me a courtesy? Would a stick up in a back alley be courteous, Ernie?

Gee, Bert....

you don't have to tip them, and they don't have to serve you the next time you come in... if you don't like this, eat at mc donalds or cook for yourself!

They do have to serve me, Ernie. Guess what would happen if they refused. id go chew the manager out and see if the waiter still had a job after that. A server SERVES. Kapish? It aint a fucking democracy, they dont choose if they want to work or not.

I am not sure where you are, but I do get to choose. I choose everyday when I open my eyes. If my manager insisted I serve tea baggers like you, I would choose differently the next time I opened my eyes.
