All of her books are full of suspense and mystery,
often as a whydunnit but you always care,
it's really compelling reading.

Tom Robbins anything but Villa Incogneto, but I'd recommend either Jitterbug Perfume or Another Roadside Attraction. Both are amazing... If you've never read him, you really ought to.

If you like a great dense mystery, Foucault's Pendulum is a very rewarding read. I pooched out after the first 25 pages a number of times, but if you persevere, the book is well worth it. I've read it 6 times and always find something new.

I read War and Peace and would definitely recommend it though I'll never read it again because there is no way I will have as much free time ever again as I did that summer (or I guess until I'm 65 or so).
