The Griffin decision was way off - I still think he won, but not by that much.
All the hype Lesnar generated, we'll see him again in six months or so. Wouldn't mind seeing him fight CroCop or Gonzaga, both of whom should beat him, but the big fella is too much of a marketing machine to drop after one fight. Then all we hear on the previews for his next fight is how much BJJ defense he has been working on.

The pool was a good idea. As my wife says, now there's a bunch of other nerds I can talk to about this, rather than boring her silly - though she does like the fighters' nicknames.

I agree on the Griffin fight, it was not as clear cut as the decision. I think the UFC will keep Brock away from submission guys and put him in with a banger like Silva or Ganzaga.

And yes I get the, Confused "why would I care about this" from my lady too.

Do any bars show UFC fights in Korea? If there were enough of us we could probably convince some bar to put them on. Then we could meet up and do this in person, maybe put some money down too.

I knew that would happen.

Fun pool Very Happy turns into gambling Cool , but yes sounds like a good idea. I'm sure some place would show it if we told them a group pf people will show up to watch it.

Whispering to himself, " Twisted Evil I hope they were all fooled by my last place finish, the trap is set."

Any ideas on where ?

The Wolfhound is the first place that comes to mind. Anyone else have ideas?

The Wolfhound shows them.. I've watched a couple of cards there, including the last thumping BJ Penn gave Stevenson. Most of the UFC events come on around 11 Sunday morning, so the place is never too busy and they even pull down the big screen if you ask. Great food, too.

Sounds intertesting, I can make a selection card and then we can do it there before hand or I can email to everyone. Ofcourse we should allow people do join for fun, they will just won't win anything.

I'll post a screenshot later

I'm in for this too. Wolfhound has good grub. Given my predilection for choking big time when there's any money on the line, I officially foresee me paying for someone's beverage. Alas... at least MrsGump won't have to listen to me curse Joe Rogan for his constant inanity.

I put together a "fun" fantasy pool sheet for UFC 82. Once we know the final card I can put the last names in.

Anyone thinking they will be showing up at Wolfhound please PM with your email address and when it gets closer I send ou the form. This should make it easy for everyone to show up ready, not have any issues and make sure everyone knows all the options open to them.

runlikegump, I'll send you the rough draft to look over incase I missed something.
