You're wrong there. There is in fact such a thing as ethnic jew.
When you see Jew capitalized it refers to a person of the Jewish faith. When you see jew uncapitalized it refers to a person of jewish descent. Interestingly enough accordingly to recent genetic research four haplo, or genetic origin, groups are the source of all Europeans, three of which are from three ethnically jewish women. So, if you're of European descent there's a very good chanch you're of jewish descent. |
