Can only speak for myself here, but I've had great experiences at Juno in Myeongdong. Very attractive dresser who spoke english. My female korean coteachter swear by Lee Chul Hair Kerker, though. |

If anyone is looking for a great stylist who is versatile - does both short and long hair -- go see Pierre. I tried other salons recommended on this thread but wasn't satisfied. After 4 years in Seoul, I finally found a stylist who really listens and works with you. Pierre speaks Korean, English and Japanese and can be found at Paradigm Salon. Go to Seollung Station on the green line, exit 2. Walk straight until you get to the convenience store (about two blocks), turn left and walk straight up another 2 or 3 blocks. It's on your left and kiddie corner to the Seven Eleven.
Pierre's phone numbers are: 02-566-0963 and 010-5267-1719

Do you know if Pierre knows how to cut curls? I went to Johnny at Zen salon a couple of years ago, I asked if he knew how to cut curls, he said yes. I came out with some sort of stylized European mullet. terrible. never again. |

I don't know if he's good with curls but I'd wager that he is. My hair is slighty wavy and he works with it. Give him a try.... |

I've mined this thread and struck out at most everywhere recommended. Any new recommendations for a good women's haircut in Seoul? English-speaking stylist, I don't really care how much money!
And -- if anyone has short, fine hair and has had a good experience, I would love to hear about it! |

go to Juno Hair, they speak English there. not all the stylists but some of them. I go to the one right by Samseong Station (by COEX mall). always come out happy. |

I always go to Hair & Joy in Hongdae. I have short, fine hair and the stylist I go to, Jason, always makes my hair look amazing. |
