I would really enjoy owning a four year old LCD panel.

It would be excellent for watching movies on.

This is by and far the best quote of the thread:

Quote:
As advertised this is a fine machine, state of the art close to the razors
edge. There are probably a few techies out there sportin' wood over this
thing and crying cause they lack the funds to buy it or build one of their
own.

At least somebody has.

I thought it was only me that thought it suspicious that he posted about it being 6 months old, then admitted to it being second hand six months old, then to have posted about the monitor a year ago bragging about it.

And to have offered the specs for it showing that the panel was made in 2004

Sure there is some newbie who will me taken in by the SHOPPING CHANNEL style of selling that was going on.

950,000 does not include the Lcd projector.

I've got someone looking at it this weekend. But think i'll let it go for around 700,000 won which includes the 90' screen, ceiling kits for the projector and screen, and video cables (not the shitty thin kind either).

And i'll even come over to install the ceiling kit for the lcd, as it can get a bit tricky.. I'd deliver it but a 90' screen will not fit into a hyundai tuscani. Wink

Oh yeah btw, i bought the lcd project new.. about 6 months ago..

How much are replacement bulbs for that projector?

I ask, becuase I see basically the same projecotr on Ebay, and it's got a new bulb in it, for $330 buy it now. And he's throwing in the cieling mount (minus the installation guy in a Tuscani).

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEC-VT-465-Projector-HDTV-1800-lumens-NEW-BULB_W0QQitemZ200208829742QQihZ010QQcategoryZ25321QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

That one is only 1800 ANSI though, and yours is 2000, although both are HDTV compatible, is there much of a difference in brightness, and/or replacment bulb price?

His is not as old as yours either........................I think.

My problem mate, was your marketing ploy trying to lure some unsuspecting soul into buying an out of date system, with a four year old panel.

If you had worded it in a way which was more truthful rather than shopping channel hook and lure I wouldn't have been bothered either way.

Claiming that an overclocked Pentium 4 D is "razors edge" and a 6 month old monitor is one that has been around for a lot longer than that is false advertising.

My problem therefore buddy is I don't like shills and you sir are a shill.

"razors edge"?

Those were not my words..

It does perform well.. whether you accept that fact or not.. either way i dont really care what you think.

You call me a shill... yeah ok.. I wrote my cell number in this thread..

I'd perfer you "man-up" and ring me.. then i could at least give you some respect, than to hide behind a computer and write stupid comments.

Wow...just WOW! what have you been smoking? I already have a Pentium D 930 (3.4 stock) that I bought for my wife used, ho hum mbo (like yours) and a better graphics card, 860g hdd's, 2x2g ram, and a legit copy of xp (although I'm running vista x64 ultimate now) for, 220,000. Also a nice set of logitech speakers / subwoofer. I was under the impression that you were including the projector in the deal.
