I so wnted to buy one of those but I got a definite no from my wife about it, sadly. LPG, small and nippy, gallons of space. What more could a man ask for?

Some of my Korean friends said they would rather take the bus or walk than drive my car. I guess if your a Korean that stuff matters. I've had Koreans who pump gas tell me my car is a piece of sh*t....really? So what. I'm driving. Your walking or waiting (bus, subway, taxi). I don't have 2 hours to take a bus to the store...shop...and ride the bus back home. I can go shop and come home in 30 minutes.

Since I've had a car no more huge winter jacket. No more umbrellas. I pay 40,000 per month in insurance and spend 30,000 per week in gas. I think my time is worth far more than that.

I love my little Damas. It's LPG, good on gas, it's small and narrow - to get around small streets easily - it's got tons of trunk space, it's easy to park, and it costs little to own and operate.

The one down side (a big one) is the perception of other drivers on the road. Let's just paraphrase the late Rodney Dangerfield "I don't get no respect".

I would have gotten a motorbike a long time ago except I saw a guy get wacked by a taxi my first week in Korea. Kind of blew it for me. Do you guys where helmets? I couldn't imagine cruising around Seoul without one.
