ooooh, good call on the rogue chocolate stout. that is good stuff, though wildly pricey.
if you're going to go OE, you might as well go brass monkey (oe+oj). |

The Belgians make a hell of a beer too but I was to into German beer during my year there to really explore their beer. |
Those would really go well with a German sausage. I had a great Curryverst in Pattaya. |
i'll third that: erdinger hefe-weizen. i don't know what i'm going to do when i leave germany 
if i'm feeling a bit dehydrated i might turn it into a banananweizen (add banana syrup).mmmmmmmmmm. i get some funny looks in berlin but its popular down south i'm told.
for those who dont know this beer, hefe weizen is german for yeast wheat. wheat beer.
sadly normal beer now tastes shite. |

Is pretty effing spectacular!
Is damn skippy, though a bit fruity.
Is my favorite from Sam Adams though their Light Lager is probably the best light beer i've ever had.
Pennsylvania's finest (and America's oldest) and my personal fav when getting drunk back home with the friends.
The best damn beer period in the category of "Six Packs of Tallboys Under $8"
And this for sentimental reasons...how many of you have ever seen a 4'5" midget have to literally bend his entire body back to take a sip from a "40"? |

KLB Raspberry Wheat Ale
From Kawartha Lakes Brewery out of Peterborough, Ontario.
It's a soft, easy beer that goes down like water and has a great aftertaste.....Man, I miss that.
RE- La Fin du Monde ( the end of the world ). It was a suitable beer when I was 15 and crossed the Ottawa River to hit a daepaneur because they wouldn't card me.
That stuff is potent!!! |

Good F'ing call on Portland (Oregon). The Rose City has some of the finest beers I know of (some of which are imported from Seattle). If you haven't spent time in the NW U.S., you don't understand what you're missing. |
