From reading most of the posts, I know I'm getting old...

You know you're old if...

...you remember the times when the Beatles released new albums

...you remember shows like Batman, Star Trek (original series), and the Irwin Allen shows (Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Time Tunnel, Lost in Space, Land of the Giants) in their original run.

You forgot to mention Space: 1999 Shocked lol, though it was a British show but had a limited broadcast in the states.

I do remember the day John Lennon died. Listening to the news anchors live at the scene, how sad they were. Watching my parents watch the news and not saying a word.... I'll never forget that.

Just last night I had 4 (4!) glasses of Cass, and have felt like dogshit all day as a result. WTF!

You know you're getting old when...

you go to another room, and you can't remember what you were going to say or do, especially when...when...

(OK, OK, not to worry: it'll come back to me if I go back to where I was before I came here...).

Another take on what was already said.

When you would rather have a boozy Sunday afternoon with brews, than on saturday night.

Your body's just mad at you for drinking Cass. Serves you right.

I'm not old by any standard, but I still meet some of the criteria in this thread (not liking sweaty, noisy, meat-market bars, etc.). I think you guys must've been major hedonists in your youth if you associate these things with age.

Exhibit B:
Quote:
When you start drinking different beers for their tastes and qualities rather than to simply get drunk. Considering which beer to drink with which meal is a sure sign you are getting old.

When you start dating different girls based on their personality, charm and future ease of co-habitation rather than their boobs, hooha and legs.

Basing your choice of dates on hooha and boobs rather than personality is something any guy who can dress himself and use a fork should be doing already, regardless of age. But who am I to preach? I certainly don't like it when people criticize my choices.

There is no longer any movie of ANY genre that truly interests you anymore as everything out there is just a rehash of something you have already seen rehashed a thousand times before.

Relaxing has become your hobby.

Shiiiit.............

....bowel movement becomes a issue. You get off the toilet and say "That was a really good dump!"

Or reading a book on the bog seems like a nice time to relax.
