I think I'm probably scheduled for the same interview. I know a couple other people and we all have marathon interviews scheduled on the same couple of days.
I'm somewhat considering not showing up. I already work for a small Korean company and get frustrated daily with corporate culture there. From the two sentence job description I've been sent, and the way they've handled my e-mail requests for more information (basically saying 'here in Korea we don't give information about jobs'), I'm having a hard time getting motivated to put my presentation together.
It sounds to me like we're in for a day of being herded around like cattle.
I would love to be wrong, if anyone has any idea of what's actually going to go down. |

Unless you are handpicked and/or scouted from a competitor from the US or ROW realistically ask yourself what your value proposition would be? In reality its cheaper and more effective to higher a local contractor at their subsidiary -- something to think about.
My advice .. make a phenomenal first impression and ask for top dollars. The better looking you are the greater the likelihood you'll get a great package --- sad but that's Korea for ya.
The talent at SK is no joke ... from what I hear. |

Actually Im curious about how one goes about getting a job at one of these companies. What's the route?
I can speak a little Korea (ie I can carry on small talk conversation and sometimes a little more but its all way slow). |
