You'd rather look like a centrefold in "Attitude" magazine. Well, each to his own I guess. |
please don't make the same mistake your philosophical buddy Large Bird makes..
I'm talking about his looks..(which in this case entail his height.. his bone structure, etc) not his attitude.. you don't know/can't judge his "attitude" from one picture.. or a single expression in a single picture.
I can find him with many different expressions, but on looks alone, yes, over Depp and that's one of the easiest choices ever.
You're perfectly free to hold a different opinion of course. |

"Attitude" is a gay magazine. I was saying that in the first picture he does look like a bit of a fun boy. I was just messing. You are entitled to your opinion but dude seriously? Dolph Lungdren better looking than Johnny Depp? Aryan funboys no longer tickle female fancies.
I think the majority of women would choose Depp as more attractive. Women will always choose a pretty boy over a meathead. |

oops.. sorry
Im not up on the latest (nor the past) gay magazines.
and yes seriously.. if I were presented with a choice between the two, I'd want to be Dolph Lundgren, even if Depp did better with the chicks.
Dolph is an athletic specimen, a stud, tall and and with great bone structure. Depp is a short pencil neck geek.
but that's my choice and preference obviously and I'm speaking as a guy, rather than who a girl may choose.
there is no wrong answer on such questions.
Vive le diference! |

1. The blonde guy looks like guile from street fighter. I wouldn't say he's THAT good looking. His face is almost too angular or something. Seems like a hollow pointy box somehow. That combined with the fact that he looks like a major *beep* makes him rather unattractive in my opinion.
2. Depp is just a little weird. Hard to tell what he looks like under all that junk. He does have some vibe about him though that induced me to check "sexy."
3. Clooney still baffles me to some degree. He's the perfect example of someone who doesn't have anything WRONG with their features, but nothing particularly special either. He strikes me as mildly handsome. |

Like many other women in the world this guy does it for me.....it is, of course, a combination of his very real gorgeousness and the character he plays. For a man to be handsome is one thing - I find George Clooney handsome but I don't want to jump his bones; for him to be sexy or have that oomph factor he needs something more than just looks. Charisma perhaps, or the intelligence vibe that Johnny Depp radiates. For Viggo/Strider it's that tough, torn bad/good guy vibe. That and the fact that you'd be safe with him even facing a horde of orc berserkers. Oh & the body. And those eyes.
He looks pretty tasty sans the hair & sweat here too:

Viggo sure aged a lot between the Lord of the Rings and that Russian mob movie
maybe he's one the few men who looks better covered up in facial hair
Mortensen is a good example of a guy who isn't "classically handsome" but in some ways he is quite handsome (I know this sounds contradictory, but I can't quite find the words)
what I do know is that I'd rather be Viggo than Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom has never done anything for me, along with Leonardo Dicaprio & Russell Crowe. Those three have little in common except that they don't push my buttons. My 2 best friends however have serious fantasies revolving around young Orlando....the hussies!
I also have a thing for Jack Nicholson and Clive James, neither of which would be described as handsome. The law of attraction is a strange thing. |

Nicholson is one of those tremendously rare guys who may look better in his 50ties than he did when he was younger. but with Nicholson it was never about the looks. It was the charm, the charisma.. the darting eyebrows. I think he learned the charming rogue act as he grew older, wiser and more confident in himself and how he can affect women around him. (and note how his features became chiseled very late in life, he lost that fat baby face)
He's an inspiration to all of us future geezers everywhere
though the end is looking like it'll be Marlon Brando-esque ugly
re your "hussy" friends.
they're GAY, correct?

Leave Orlando Bloom alone!
He was voted the prettiest boy at Drama School don't you know.
And don't you DARE say he cannot act! Have you seen the Calcium Kid?
"I'm a milkman. But I want to be a boxer!"
You are all jealous of the awesomeness that is Orloondo Bland. |

hahahahahaha
Stormy you called your gf's hussies, so I'm assuming they're all a bit older than our favorite elf (nothing wrong with that).
I think there's a poolboy/maternal thing going on there.. but I'm no shrink, so who knows.
but Orlando's gay fans probably outnumber his straight ones
for good reason - btw. Keira Knightley (who can certainly use a sandwich (or two.. or three. or just a month straight of nothing but sandwiches) doesn't particularly look pettite, next to Orlando, does she?
her legs are as thick (er?) than his? |

Who isn't?
Just thought of another handsome guy....Ben Affleck. There's nothing wrong with the way he looks but he is so unattractive (to me obv.) Maybe it's the lack of a personality impression that I get?
