Joo, do you like naked women at all?
You say you're for alternative fuels more than anyone else on the forum, yet there are people like me who do our thing in the switchgrass field and cornfields while you merely talk about how much you're "for" it.
In this thread, you're "for" war, yet just like on alternative fuels, other men are the ones in the battlefields. Your contribution to the War on Terror has been no greater than mine or any hippie who smokes weed and talks about peace while listening to the Grateful Dead.
Talk is cheap. Saying you're "for" something is absolutely 100% worthless until you actually roll up your sleeves and participate. |

Well, I saw the Robert Baer interview.
Anyway do you think Al Qaeda and Iran have different goals than 5 years ago. |

Anyway how much did you give? I guess you are too busy spending all your money on sex tourism. That is when you weren't saying on the internet that if you agree with the US government on the USS Liberty that you are the same as a holocaust denier.
You still think Iran's attacks on US forces were justified cause the US supported the Shah? you still think that Saddam was fighting terror when he murdered the Kurds? and that the insurgents were defending Iraq?
By the way switch grass is experimental and ethanol requires nearly as much energy to produce as it provides.
Both might be useful one day but not now.
So you are misleading people there too.

I don't know how you can be so ignorant as to think that Iran and Al-Quaida are actually really connected. Your link to the 911 commission is flimsy to say the least.
Al-Quaida's main aim has been to get US troops out of Muslim lands, I've no problem with that.
You could argue that if the US were never in the Middle East (Troops in Saudi) 911 would never of happened.
Enjoy the up coming election.

They are not connected much but they do have sort of similar demands at least as far as the mideast.
AQ's main objective isn't to get US forces out of the mideast its main objective is to conquer the middle east and more.
You really ought to take the time to check your information and facts. |

Oh really?
The principal stated aims of al-Qaeda are to drive Americans and American influence out of all Muslim nations, especially Saudi Arabia;

Maybe it is you who should do some reading, especially after starting a thread trying to claim that Iran and Al-Qaeda's aims are linked.
Enjoy the election. After 8 years the GOP is sure to win. |

Nope this is what Al Qaeda fights for.
| Quote: |
al-Qa'ida (The Base)
Qaedat al-Jihad
Islamic Army for the Liberation of the Holy Places
World Islamic Front for Jihad Against Jews and Crusaders
Islamic Salvation Foundation
Usama bin Laden Network
Al-Qa'ida is multi-national, with members from numerous countries and with a worldwide presence. Senior leaders in the organization are also senior leaders in other terrorist organizations, including those designated by the Department of State as foreign terrorist organizations, such as the Egyptian al-Gama'at al-Islamiyya and the Egyptian al-Jihad. Al-Qa'ida seeks a global radicalization of existing Islamic groups and the creation of radical Islamic groups where none exist.
Al-Qa'ida supports Muslim fighters in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chechnya, Tajikistan, Somalia, Yemen, and Kosovo. It also trains members of terrorist organizations from such diverse countries as the Philippines, Algeria, and Eritrea.
Al-Qa'ida's goal is to "unite all Muslims and to establish a government which follows the rule of the Caliphs." Bin Laden has stated that the only way to establish the Caliphate is by force. Al-Qa'ida's goal, therefore, is to overthrow nearly all Muslim governments, which are viewed as corrupt, to drive Western influence from those countries, and eventually to abolish state boundaries.
Description
Established by Usama Bin Ladin in the late 1980s to bring together Arabs who fought in Afghanistan against the Soviet Union. Helped finance, recruit, transport, and train Sunni Islamic extremists for the Afghan resistance. Current goal is to establish a pan-Islamic Caliphate throughout the world by working with allied Islamic extremist groups to overthrow regimes it deems non-Islamic?and expelling Westerners and non-Muslims from Muslim countriesparticularly Saudi Arabia. Issued statement under banner of the World Islamic Front for Jihad Against the Jews and Crusaders?in February 1998, saying it was the duty of all Muslims to kill US citizenscivilian or militaryand their allies everywhere. Merged with Egyptian Islamic Jihad (Al-Jihad) in June 2001. |

And this is from your own source:
| Quote: |
Ideology and Goals
The principal stated aims of al-Qaeda are to drive Americans and American influence out of all Muslim nations, especially Saudi Arabia; destroy Israel; and topple pro-Western dictatorships around the Middle East. Bin Laden has also said that he wishes to unite all Muslims and establish, by force if necessary, an Islamic nation adhering to the rule of the first Caliphs.
According to bin Laden's 1998 fatwa (religious decree), it is the duty of Muslims around the world to wage holy war on the U.S., American citizens, and Jews. Muslims who do not heed this call are declared apostates (people who have forsaken their faith). |
Yep U need to check your facts.
Question: what was the Bali bombing about?
and Yes Both Iran and Al Qaeda want the US out of the mideast so they can power project and control it's oil to use as a weapon. |
