Jesse Custer, the redneck half-God from 'preacher,' and also his drunken junkie Irish vampire sidekick Cassidy, were cool.
Actually, most of the cast of that comic was pretty good...
But my all-time favourite has to be Rorschach, the pyscho ginger from the Watchmen, with his wierd stinky mask made from Kitty Genovese's dress.
What a fruitloop he was... |

Batman (esp Frank Miller's vision)
The Spirit had some of the best stories (and women) in comic history.
I liked Jon Sable, too, but he's not really a superhero. |
