Jade doesn't have to defend herself about anything. I'm asking an honest question-if she wants to answer, she will. If she doesn't want to, she won't.
The implied difference is that Korean women are generally treated better relatively speaking by Western Men than Western women are by Korean men.

That's a pretty big stereotype that you are talking about there.
I could look at it the other way and say that Western men don't exactly treat Korean women the best way. They meet them at the bar, make all sorts of promises to them and after they have sex with them, it's all downhill from there. But again, that's a stereotype. Or is it?
I will say this: It does seem weird that Jade is announcing her engagement after all the problems she had this summer. To each their own I guess. It's her life to live not ours. |
