So if Sejong and Erlyn were both on the show, and then there was the other couple, the math states that you were either calling Erlyn or Sejong fat. 
And aren't you the guy who's trying to lose weight, because you're a fatty? Just because you go to the gym in an effort to shave off a whopping 2 kg a month, doesn't really give you the right to go around calling people fat, simply because they're on TV and not a part of your life.
Why don't you just admit that real people actually read this board, and that you fucked up and you're sorry? tokki had the sack to admit it without whining about his rights to free speech and opinions or whatever.
Some of the most awesome people in the world are big folks, from comedians to actors to some of our moms and dads. It disheartens me greatly when someone comes to Asia, gets this great enlightening about the size of people back home, and suddenly sees fatness everywhere. I don't look at my larger friends back home in disdain. |

I don't think I did screw up by saying 3/4 of the contestants were fat. I was speaking the truth. I also wouldn't say I am a "fatty". Back in North America few if anyone would have considered me fat - fact is cause fat is the norm back there. Which was kind of my point. There were several threads on the state of foreigners in Korea and how a large portion of them are FAT. And there was a thread about how people who have gone home and realized - yeah North Americans are FAT. Sure real people read this board. I am in fact a real person. But I wouldn't go off spouting I am John Doe who works in xxx place and that I will be on Ariang TV. This board for 99% of the people is anonymous. If Sejong and his wife STAYED anonymous, what really is the problem?
It's like saying someone sucked in a movie. You wouldn't say it to the person's face, but you might post it on a msg board...who knows if said actor or actress would be reading the msg board and as IF they would say who they really were.
Seriously, didn't anyone from this board learn of Beckerson and Kimchiking's mistakes: letting people know who you are in RL...I just thought common sense would be the norm.
Seems cause Tokki stirred the boat on the other thread, I have to feel bad. What I said and what he said are two TOTALLY different things.
I will not apologize for noting that 3/4 of the white contenders were fat.
I will not apologize for how I thought the show is a total piece of crap.
Also I don't think I got personal either. I didn't mention anything about the behavior of the said contenders...just made an observation that would fit into some of the Dave's threads. Take it or leave it, but I wasn't nor am I being personal in singling anyone out.
Last thing: I wonder if that EBS Isaac guy reads this board. A LOT of people put that guy down. What if he did read this board? Do you think he would make himself known or stay up at night crying? Something to ponder before you go using the "real people read this board" speech. |

People call me fat when I'm representin' with 80 kg slapped on 183 cm. You're 118 kg...to Koreans, you're a friggin' MONSTER. I'm still chuckling to myself that someone who was probably close to twice the size of some of those people is the one calling them fat. |

I've always been pretty thin. Just on this side of anorexic, but I'm turning 27 this year and my metabolism must have slowed down quite a bit. I've gained a surprising amount of weight since leaving Korea last year.
I'm 177cm and these days hovering around 69-70kgs.
I know, that's pretty normal, or maybe still a tad under, but i feel bloated non the less  |
