Yes, it's white guys who have fetishes for Asian women. That's why we have a TV show back home with a bunch of white guys asking questions to a panel of young Asian women called, "Gabbing with the Lovelies."

I personally would rather date a western woman, but in Korea, the Korean women tend to be more attractive.

There are some hot western women here, but there are tons who look about 20 years older than they actually are, are obese, or look like they're strung out on meth. Maybe it's because Korea is harder on women, but after a couple years in Korea, most women I've known go downhill appearance wise.

Whenever I see posts decrying white men in Korea as chasing a fetish, I tend to assume that the one complaining about it is revealing an inner insecurity.

I am a Western women, and I generally find more "exotic" women to be beautiful, whether they're Asian, South American, Scandenavian, etc. I was NEVER attracted to Asian men before I came to Korea, but once you're here for a while ... they just look better and better. I really feel like my experience was not a lot different then the one most Western men report - the Westerners of the opposite sex are not very attractive (fat, short, etc.) and the Koreans simply by their abundance have heaps more attractive people walking around.

I do think however that the MAIN reason most guys go for Korean girls is that for whatever reason the Kgirls find them attractive based solely on their whiteness and maybe their ignorance as to what a hot Western guy actually looks like (one of my female friends worked at a school with another Western male and her Korean co-teachers actually asked her if the guy would be considered "handsome" in Canada). As a result, the men can usually do better here than they would at home; for example, a 5 Western man can probably date a 7 Korean woman fairly easily. It's not difficult to figure out why this is appealing.

And as for those who claim that Western women here look fat and ugly and let themselves go ... the Western guys aren't exactly much to look at either. I almost wonder if there isn't something in the water here that makes them go bald ...

It's pretty simple. The overwhelming numbers and the attraction to novelty. After years in Asia white girls have become a novelty. Would find one if I could. Ah, the hell with it, maybe I'll go to Europe.

Well to be quite honest, there are many Asian men who have a "white woman" fetish as well. These are the types of guys who will straight up knock over a very pretty Asian girl to holler at a very below average white girl.
