I would also say that Africans have incredible individual talent.. but are just too individualistic in mentality.
I mean Nigeria would've scored a couple of times there if they had just passed the ball at the crucial moment instead of hanging onto it.
South Africa did not respond well enough to adversity unfortunately. First goal against them by Uruguay and they lost confidence. Cameroon did not play attacking football and paid the price. Ghana are playing well but appear to lack goalscorers in open play.
I was really hoping an African side would win the cup.. but its looking bleak.  |
