| Man, we are so bored in Korea. Since when did you ever see a group of people discussing how often they shower? |

| Once every morning. But if it has been a particularly sticky day or I sweated a lot I'll take one before bed as well. |

I shower right before bed. I like going to sleep feeling clean. I also like going to bed with wet hair, although in winter I had to blow it dry before bed so I wouldn't freeze to death.
I can't do morning showers, I'd have to wake up so much earlier. My hair takes forever to dry.
On weekends I usually shower twice a day though because I have more time. But I will NEVER go to bed without a shower, no matter how tired I am. |

| It seems like a lot of people don't like to go to bed dirty or have a dirty bed. I see the dirty bed as inevitible. Am I weird? (I'm also a really terrible slob, actually). |

| I shower at least twice a day when my husband is around and I'm working. Maybe every other day if I'm on my own and not working. I wash my hair every 8 days or so. |

I saw the thread before reading this, then read this, and urinated all over my bed sheets as a result. Hit me right in the spot, that.
I like discussing this because it lets me know if anybody else my age or older is as unhygienic as myself. 3 in Korea, so far. |

| Shower before work. On days that I don't work, I might not shower. Depends. |

Morning and night, sometimes another after school or exercise.
I have short hair, which is mad in the mornings. Couldn't imagine not washing hair every morning, the shower is easier than the basin.
I partially dry myself, definitely dry the hairy bits, but leave head, hair and limbs a little wet to halp with cooling after leaving shower. Start with warm water and finish with cold. |

| I've started walking home from work. It takes about 30 minutes and in this weather, I'm dripping with sweat when I get home. I shower, turn on the AC and take a nap before dinner. It's very efficient. |

This thread, more than all the complaining, painful threads that Dave's is famous for, reflects life in Korea the best! Empty...except for a nice, soothing shower. Twice a day when it's hot! |

| During the week, I've been taking my second shower (first before I leave for work) when I get home, because I have to carry my bike up and down a fairly large set of stairs to cross the train tracks. In this heat, I get home and NEED a shower. If I go out that evening, I take a third to wash away the grime from outside, but if I stay in, I don't. I feel wasteful, but I can't stand going to bed dirty. |

Right. I didn't think such mundane boring thread topic would be a hit, but it is. I bet millions of dollars of opportunities for the taking passed me had I illicited such simple and stupid convo as, "How often do you watch baseball? My team is the Yankees." Instead of being a 4 eyed geek saying, "Do you watch Stargate Universe? I love science, travel, nature, and bird watching. How often do you study the many varied species of life in other lands by field observation?"
It's when you think too much and have brain farts outside of mundane life is when it doesn't go over well on here. Such blue collar style of people and culture considering we have college degrees with the assumption we have larger intellect than workers and we strive to be free thinking independent professionals. Well, that's just the text book ideal of career and life after college. I never thought a bunch of college grads claiming to be professionals would sit around and only be interested in discussing mundane every day life while attacking those who veer from the consensus. This isn't the first time I've seen this common culture play out.
OK. I shower once a day after my late afternoon work out. Now you know my personal life. Is that any more interesting? Not really from my perspective. |

I find the topic pretty filling. I never get the opportunity to listen to people talk about themselves as if they truly think other people give a damn, if they even read the response. In England, I would just be told 'nobody cares' |
