b? And you apologists HAVE to have some Korean in you. You have to. I just can't imagine a non-Korean getting on this forum every single day and defending a place(Korea) where they are excluded just based on the color of their skin..

So because YOU can't imagine it, it can't be true?

Do you even read what you wrote or are you just trolling?

miss the feelings, emotions and sensations of being new to Korea. The nostalgia is killing me now. Lots of good memories, not many bad.

Exactly. It's not Korea you miss but the feeling of excitement / novelty. (And probably youth.) I garuantee you that if and when you go to a new country for a work stint or even a month long exploring holiday that feelign will be right back at ya. Been there seen it done it.

Again, it's not Korea imo you miss (and I don't say that from some wierd not wantng ppl to like Korea perspective) it's the buzz of being young, in a new place and having an adventure.

wishmaster has been trolling since he joined back in 2003.

Look at his post history.

Laughing

His posts are full of bashing korea and making fun of korean "apologists".

The guy's life must be really pathetic, trolling and bashing the nation on a internet board for 7 years.

Laughing

No wonder he couldn't make any friends in korea. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I must have really struck a nerve if you are looking back at my posting history..oh...here it comes...especially for you: Laughing . I'm sure you appreciate that. You talk about how pathetic my life is, but you are looking back at my posting history. Again...here it comes... Laughing .

Oh, and hey, let's get the record straight. I love Korea. I truly love and enjoy Korea. Koreans are just peachy and filled with awesomeness. I love Korea. It is a a fabulous place. I like walking down the street and seeing all the smiling faces and happy children. Korea is wonderful.

LOL, japan can build up military all they want. So what? I don't have any problem with that. You are the only one here who went denial about both american and soviets raping and ass wooping japan 70 years ago. "BAAWWW BUT BUT BUT JAPAN WAS BOMBED SO THEY COULDNT DEFEND AGAINST THE RUSSIANS"

ROFLMFAO!!!!!!

really, dude. You probably never accomplished anything in your life other than coming to korea and come to dave's internet board and bashing a nation for 7 years straight. I feel sorry for you, bro. Really. I'm not being cynical. Razz Razz

Oh, and I love japan. I really really do. They make great anime tentacle porns and make fun games. Life would suck without the japanese in this world.Wink Wink

Can't argue with that.

I often become nostalgic for Korea, certainly, but at the same time I'm very glad I'm not still there and I'm particularly glad I never married a Korean woman, as I once thought likely. Importantly though, the reason I'm glad I'm not still in Korea has nothing to do with Korea itself, but rather how being there for a long time seems to affect people. I'm of the view that, on the whole, it has a noticeably detrimental effect on the mind, with the expat in question basically winding up a complete bore. Indeed, I'm convinced that it might even cause clinical depression.

still miss Korea sometimes, especially on saturdays.

maybe it's the nostalgia hitting me. Didn't realize how much fun I had or how much I'd miss korea.

I don't plan on returning, but i wish i had a time machine
