... radish? Those aren't kimchi.

Yeah that's danmuji. I think it's originally Japanese.

I went to a ramyun restaurant where they had a sign that said "pineapple" and an arrow pointing to a bucket of yellow pickled radish. Apparently they were just calling it that to be cute, because it kind of looks like pieces of pineapple, especially when they cut it into long sections instead of round disks. I was pretty disappointed.
Ya thats the stuff. I can't stand it.

Those greasy egg and lunchmeat sandwiches they make at sandwich stands. I ate one once, about an hour later I was sprinting to the bathroom!

I usually avoid
-sweet ddeok (But I like spicy ddeok)
-coffee mix
-cookies/choco pie (I actually like them, but found it to be a very bad habit to eat them so I stopped completely)
-sweet potato pizza
-the fruit that looks like a tomato but is very sweet

I eat almost everything else, but avoid these things because they are either bad for health or I don't like the taste or both. I am not fanatic about it though, and will eat any of it if I am required to.

I eat pretty much everything. Not a big dan of the savory Ddeok though. Sweet ddeok is pretty good.

I feel sorry for you guys who don't eat good tasting foods. Sounds miserable. Just remember to eat your fruits and vegetables, go for a run every now and then and you can eat whatever you want!

Well that's because foods that may taste good to you may not taste good to them. the foods they do choose to eat however - do taste good to them.

It's called subjectivity lol.

I have learned to avoid ttuk as it is too heavy in the stomach and is tasteless and gooey. Also too much spicey foods. I love em but they don't love me and I want to take better care of my body these days. Constant diarheah is not an indicator of good health.

I also tend to avoid younger newbs to korea as they often seem out of touch with reality and have no sense of how they actually come accross to others and are often very selfish.
