| The worst came not for my section only the car basement was flooded but the suburbs got hit bad and because they also got flooded in the 74 flood most couldnt get insurance or afford it. A lot of people have lost homes and are left with next to nothing. I think Brisbane residents will now have to think hard about buying close to the river as this will happen again. |

The aerial photos of the Brisbane floods were taken in flyovers on January 13 and January 14.
