The boss was a little heavy handed. he was probably trying to make a joke. But in Asia dress is important. More so than in the West. If you want to be treated and paid like a professional dress the part. people who make money and have status put a little time in to how they look. In the hagwon industry the teacher is the "Face " of the company. If you think this is some infringement of your right to look like a loser than keep on making that 2.1 a month and keep working at bad or dishonest schools. Dress the part and success will follow.
