I see! For codes I see that not working, but I bet purchased DLC will work. DLC from north america doesn't work with Korean games, nor does Japanese. However Asia is a region for the actual content, which includes Korea, not codes. I think all codes are country specific.
PSN must accept ARC numbers. I'd send a letter to headquarters somewhere! That's ridiculous. I just naturally used my girl's because we share the ps3. Never tried to sign up for korea, just other regions. |
Hello xmotleyx/other forum members,
So you have tried using korean PSN account downloading DLC on your Asian version Discs?
Then have you tried using an asian psn account to download DLC on a Korean Disc?
I want to try downloading Chaos unleashed for Space marine but my disc is a Korean disc(BLKS-xxxxx 5 digits) instead of the usual Asian disc(BLAS-xxxxx 5 digits).
Thank you for reading! |
Korean account: We haven't tried using this because we can't get one. We can only get one using a native's SSN, and that's a request that's always going to cause the native to wonder about your intentions.
Asian account: I have a Hong Kong account as well as my main US account. It unfortunately does not recognize the Korean codes. |
Hello, Thanks for the reply!
Ok Now I understand that Asian Account doesn't accept Korean DLC Codes.
My question is DLC downloaded from Asian Account(not codes) playable on a korean disc? |

If I'm understanding your question correctly, I believe so.
My main account uses the US Playstation Store, and even for games I've bought here (Korea only versions), the DLC works.
In the most recent example, I bought the "Fan Axxess" package for WWE 12 and it works, even though the Online Pass, and DLC codes (The Rock and a costume for The Miz) do not. |
