Exactly, just because you spend long hours at the office doesn't mean you're productive. The Swiss are known to be the most productive.
What is worse that in Korean companies, you have to LOOK busy instead of really BEING busy. I tend to do my work fast and efficiently and then wait for my next task (I stopped "looking for work" as coworkers would get angry at that and it would give stupid ideas to bosses who want to embark on useless projects that make them erroneously look good).
That said, I'm sure things in China are far worse. |
