I'm curious as to when you got yours. I figured I got mine fairly quickly after that change - march, 2007. You?

Do Korean citizens with a white parent do military service? I've heard that they have to have pure Korean bloodlines to serve but I haven't been able to confirm that (word of mouth). Anyone?

I know I read something along these lines this past year. Yes, they will have to serve in the military. Basically, the gov't took a long, hard look at the birthrates and realized that they will need every body available in the future.

Don't ask me if they'll be allowed to donate blood, though, because that answer as of now is likely "no."

Of course they can donate blood.

This, that foreigners can't give blood in Korea, is one of those rumors that get perpetuated either deliberately or through ignorance.

Which one do you claim?

No, never been banned from AFEK.

I have! But I'm wondering why that would have anything to do with this thread.

Yes, I was thinking the same. Very, very strange considering the people I've seen banned on there were temp-banned and could come back.

CC was banned for publicly claiming he was banned at every opportunity. Even though he wasn't. Seriously.

He ragequit the forums one day when I was on vacation. On this particular day I was kinda busy (I had to give my sister away on her wedding day) and he decided to get into an online fight. Then he said he didn't want to come back to AFEK. Fair enough. I was too busy to stroke his ego on this particular day (because he'd done the same thing before after stirring up trouble) so I locked his account.

It was made clear to him whenever he contacted somebody other than me that all he had to do was make a request using his original email address, and I would unlock his account.

He never tried to contact me.

He then decided to start publicly posting wherever anybody would listen about how he'd been banned and didn't know why. Again, I posted that all he had to do was make a simple email request, and I'd reactivate his account.

But no... he had his friends ask me, but he never once got in touch. What he DID do was make sure that everytime somebody said something positive about AFEK on here, he'd be sure to troll the thread, claiming he'd been banned for no reason.

Eventually, I figured I may as well do the time if I'm being accused of the crime, so yeah... he was banned for publicly claiming he'd been banned for no reason. And he's never coming back.

Stupid? Incredibly. But that's how it went down!

Now that the thread has digressed,I think it is time to lock this one. Thanks for playing.
