There is an In-n-Out in Sinsa-dong now. One of my students gave it the thumbs-up.

Oh, hell yes.

Edit: According to this site, it was just a tease:

Just the usual like everyone else.

Being from So-Cal like a few others -

Surfing
Mexican food
In N' Out
Panda Express (I know)
My car
Being able to chill out at the beach throughout the year
Online banking not being ridiculously cumbersome. Hell, online anything not requiring to install 39 different programs. Why is this a thing here?

In terms of more general stuff -

The ability to be anonymous. I've gotten used to being stared at, but there are some days when I go out that I want to be invisible and left alone.
Friends
Family

The ease of watching NFL, NCAAF, MLB, and NBA games live.

Being able to drink straight from the tap (NYC)

I have no trouble with most of the stuff on your list but MAN do I miss that NYC tap water. Some of the best in the world, no joke. I never understood the rich jerks who bought bottled water. They did a test of a random bottle of water vs. NYC municipal water and not only did more participants say the municipal water tasted better but it was actually cleaner. I'd like to see Korea beat that.

And yeah I could go for a good Moroccan restaurant. (I haven't been here super long though so If anyone knows one do fill me in. I'm in Daegu but I'd travel to Seoul for that.)

Cheap fruit.
My 24 hour gym.
Being able to run outdoors without worrying too much about getting tagged.
Sportscenter.
Being able to buy every shoe I want when I want to buy it.

Wow. I think the cultural gap between you and I isn't much smaller than the gap between myself and my Korean students Laughing About 7 of those things aren't even possible where I'm from and the rest aren't known of at all.

I've never seen an In-n-Out burger before, must be an American thing because I keep hearing Americans say it (followed by "OH MY GOD you haven't had..." etc). Same goes for Denny's (had that in Japan) and IHOP.

Just saying. It's interesting how much cultures and tastes vary in North America.

In my case, I miss:

Mowed grassy spaces (landscaping in general)
Eccentric/weird (in a good way) folk
Weird subcultures that I don't understand that make life interesting
Mellow/comfortable people
Tim Hortons
Nature
Driving being leisurely and not stressful
Everyone being fatter than me

That's about it.
