I laugh every time someone complains of the heat. Last summer I was home and the temp was 45C everyday. At 10pm I sat in my back yard, texted and friend expressing my happiness that it was only 38C. That wasn't even including heat index. Apparently, this summer the temps are even hotter in my hometown. |
This in Aus? My wife wants to move there, but I doubt I could handle the heat. For the last 6 years I've tried to get used to Korean summers but have only marginally improved. Can't image hotter. |

Likewise in reverse....minus 10 or minus 30. either way it's uber cold. Only a moron is going out in that, rather than hanging out indoors in the heat.

-10 is easily managed. -30 is tough. Really hard to keep your fingers and toes warm even while doing sports. I used to ride my bike all winter long in it and even did survival training in it (slept in a hole I dug out in a drift in a ditch). I wouldn't wish that weather on my worst enemy and I am used to it for about a month a year. |
