That is one badassian piece of automotive design, visually/viscerally.

It looks like the Batmobile had a baby with Herbie the Love Bug.

I'd love to see the list of top names brainstormed for this and tested.
Propho? Someone must've tossed that out as a joke.
[conception prevention meets creature comfort: Kia Propho]

How about:
the Chevy Chasm
[the whole pie]

the Nissan Flatulence
[feel the release]

the Mercedes Sweater Kitten
[unparalleled pillowy comfort]

Isn't Kia the accronym for killed in action?
Isn't IRA, an individual retirement account, a product sold en masse?
More than one way to retire.

I have never been to Belfast.
But I kinda like the music....

Well I've never been to heaven
but I spent some time in Provo...

The first thing I thought of when I saw the car was: "Who was this car designed for?

Ironman?

Not an attractive car.

When I went to Belfast in the very early 1980s, there was a fun song played fairly often on the radio. The song had the refrain,

Quote:
Belfast, Belfast, such a lovely town.
It doesn't matter if your skin is brown!

That's the best I can recall the lyrics now.

Actually, that song is from the 1970s. It was a comedy album. It included, 'Sexy Knickers' (the song you're thinking of), 'Shankill Airlines' and "Andy McFadden and his Funky wee Three Piece Band." From the mid-70's I believe. Doubt it was playing that often in the early 80's. Anyhoo...

And, unfortunately, in some rougher parts of Belfast it does indeed matter if your skin is brown. Just ask the Romanians who were burned out a couple of years back. Not the most open-minded people on the planet. Christ, they don't even want other white people living near them who aren't of their tradition. That includes other Belfast people. Confused

I was in Belfast in the first two weeks of April 1982. I've no idea why the song was being played that often then.
