I got into all of them, they all gave me a 1/2 tuition scholarship, and in the end I chose to go to Korea University because of their exchange program. Ill be able to go to spend an extra 6 months at CEIBS in shanghai for free. None of the other programs were able to offer that.

Also, I think for working in Korea in the future, Korea Uni's alumni network should help.

I think all of them can get you sponsored to study in China for free. Was there another reason why you considered KU? What are going to focus on at KU? Was your scholarship from SK financials or from KUBS?

To me, SNU is very snobbish and after speaking to a one alumni from their, the terms seem extremely short for each class. Basically 1.5 weeks per course! Which is not enough time to learn anything or go into any detail for any subject. They seems to have a bit better human networking in Korea and maybe that's why they are more snobbish. The associate dean at the SNU GMBA didn't understand anything I asked him and was extremely impatient. Something I was very turned off by.

The KU admissions staff was extremely helpful. And their schedule for each term seemed like there is ample time to get into subjects and study and learn something.

SKK isn't as good as it looks, why else would 5000 Native Koreas apply to US MBAs instead of even thinking about applying for SKK and doing a dual degree... My Korean friends all told me that the SKY schools are the only ones worth while, but the EMBA from KIAST is worth it.

The scholarship situation in most MBA's are a standard 30-50% off just for being a foreigner and basically getting straight A's. It sounds quite difficult, but considering I graduated from the states with around a 3.5 in the States, I actually was ranked number 1 out of my MBA class and graduated with a 4.5 (straight A+). Grading is quite generous here especially if you tell them that you need to receive a certain point in order to sustain your scholarship.

SNU is a public school (National University) so it is considerably cheaper than your other options. I would say almost half the cost of private universities, which is also why SNU is so popular.

In order to qualify for any MBA program though, you must show proof that you have at least 10 mil won in your bank account.

SNU is not cheaper... It is a little more expensive than KU. Did you actually look at the school? SKK domestically is cheaper.

Also 10 million won is not enough to show for SNU you have to provide the full tuition for the Korean Gov. Where did you hear or get I formation that 10 million won is enough?

Out of curiosity, does anyone have any idea how graduates from these programs do throughout the rest of Asia? I realize their prestige back in the U.S., etc., is limited, but would they hold more value elsewhere?

Also, does anyone have anymore information about KU's program? Specifically, I was wondering if someone could answer beison's questions before, if possible, since they're also of interest to me. Thanks!

Do you have any memorable info about your time at Korea Uni's MBA? Is it a good program? They're a little different than the other three programs I've applied to since the program is only one year versus 18 months. Did you feel that an internship at a company during a summer break would have been helpful?

Also did you get a chance to talk to other students to get a feel for how the Korea Uni MBA stacked up against the others? What was it that made you choose Korea Uni, and do you think you would have gone to the same school if you could go back in time and do it all over again?

I know that this is thread is a bit old, but I'm interested to hear the experiences of anyone who has attended Yonsei's MBA program. How were the quality of education and fellow students when compared to college stateside?
