Look, I think it is the hairstyle that makes older Korean women look older.
I concur about Japanese women.
They spend money on their hair, clothes and make up, and go to hot springs,
which is good for the skin. |

According to some younger Korean female friends of mine, the adjuma baji - or clown pants as you put it - are hot right now. |
They are wrong.
Yes, I've seen a few wearing them and hope it doesn't become much of a trend. But make no mistake, they are NOT hot in any way. |
It's becoming more trendy....I've seen it far too often now. |

Which makes it even funnier that SR, the boards biggest apologist, says hell take an ugly permed ajumma in hiking gear over a Japanese MILF any day. The guy will say ANYTHING to defend Korea, no matter how foolish he looks in the process. |

Let's hope the perm doesn't follow. |

i was on a flight from moscow to seoul a few days ago and i was shocked at how packed full it was with adjumma and adjosshi. they truly do move in large packs.
the adjumma sitting next to me was having hypnic jerks so violently and frequently in her sleep that if a bystander hadn't known better they would have thought she was straight up headbanging to some heavy metal. |

I work in Tokyo and drive to work.
Even today I get stuck in traffic, look out the window and see,
guess what an attractive woman with a kid, while riding on her bike.
This happens all the time.
They really keep themselves in shape.
I can`t say that about my sister-in-law from Delaware.
She is obese yet is a vegetarian. |

This is a strange phenomenon to me. I've got a co-worker that is a picky eater (well in the public eye at least). People at work comment on how healthy she seems to eat. The thing is, she is a big girl. Something doesn't add up. |

| This one Korean woman early 20's complained to me how fat she was. In Canada and the states she would be deemed as under weight. I hope she doesn't become a wrinkly ajumma because she is super good looking. |

HAhahahaha, man, I pictured this story in my head and had a barrel of laughs. I needed that very badly, thank you. |

| Yeah, as was already pointed out I think it's a generational thing. The ones who are adjumas now had a hard life, I think (hope) that whole look is getting phased out. |

For sure. But I respect the old adjummas of today. You KNOW they had to pay some serious dues.
I wonder what the adjummas of tomorrow will be like though. Sure they'll have all the new fashion brands to wear that the past generation didn't have, but will probably be boring by comparison. And I can't see the princesses of today suddenly taking up mountain hiking. There are BUGS and ANIMALS up there! Eeeek! |

i have a strong feeling hiking gear won't be in the equation thank god. i think the future for all these awful clothing companies is looking bleak. ("the red face" anyone?) |

| Who are the people buying all the hiking gear? The older generation? Seems like 75% of the commercials on TV now are for hiking gear. But I never see young people in head to toe hiking gear. |

Hahaha, the hiking gear. What the hell is with that!
Was in the Manila airport Sunday coming back to Seoul, a bunch of hotjumas (around 40 but still hot-ish) in their city-hiking gear. I guess it is supposed to be sporty or something, not cool. |
